All my art comes with conservation mats. These mats are acid free, and thus will not damage the painting over time. It is just like taking care of photos by placing them in an acid free album. Conservation mats ensure long-term survival of these paintings. I use mostly Pastelmat paper and any paper I use is acid free. All pieces here are artworks by Merilyn that will not be reproduced. Occasionally I produce an artwork from a workshop, but if so I will mention this in description of the work. I only use the best quality pastels EG. Unison, Schmincke, Sennelier and Terry Ludwig to ensure lasting colour.
